Florida Water Tours Announces Sunset River Jazz Cruise Starting March 21

ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida (March 10, 2026) – Florida Water Tours announces a new cruise on Saturdays at sunset, the Sunset River Jazz Cruise, starting on March 21, 2026. This two-hour, adults-only (21+) journey sets sail along the beautiful waterways of St. Augustine, heading into the historic bayfront at golden hour. Local band, the HighTide Players, will play cool, relaxing jazz, with live guitar and percussion, perfect for conversing while you take in stunning scenery and wildlife. Artisanal charcuterie and a complimentary glass of boutique wine make this experience perfect for date nights, outings with friends, or anyone looking to unwind on the water.

“We’re so excited to have HighTide Players share their talent with us and our guests,” says Jessica Jadick, founder and owner of Florida Water Tours, a family-owned and operated boat touring company in St. Augustine, Florida. “Their music is so soothing, especially out on the water, creating an even more serene experience for taking in nature and the historic structures of downtown St. Augustine.”

HighTide Players offers an eclectic blend of jazz standards and toe tapping classics, played by Bill Vasileff and Kevin Bachman. Vasileff learned the piano at the age of 7, and picked up the guitar in high school. He quickly found a love for jazz music, which took him to Loyola College of Music in New Orleans. For 10 years, he collaborated and studied with some of the best players around, and has since returned home to Jacksonville to teach and create music. Bachman, a.k.a. K2, has been a percussionist and working musician for over 35 years. He started playing music in a high school garage band in Cincinnati, Ohio, and went on to play in clubs, bars, and events across Ohio and Florida. The two musicians have found a new home playing together as the HighTide Players, where their fluent style and creative melodies make them a must-see in St. Augustine — especially on the water.

“Our sunset cruises are meant to feel effortless and peaceful, and with Bill and Kevin playing light and laid-back jazz in the background, it’s really just ultimate relaxation on the water,” shares Jadick.

The new cruise excursion kicks off Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy smooth sounds as the sun sets over the water, with artisanal charcuterie and a complimentary glass of boutique wine in hand. The onboard bar also offers beer, wine, canned cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase, as well as comfortable seating with space to move about the vessel to take in the salty breeze and sights.
