Florida Water Tours Celebrates 10 Years of Cruising St. Augustine’s Waters

ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida (January 6, 2026) – Florida Water Tours is celebrating more than the new year this January. 2026 marks the family-owned and operated boating company’s tenth year cruising the waters of St. Augustine. To celebrate the occasion, Florida Water Tours is offering an array of special discounts, food and beverage perks, a huge giveaway, and daily prizes for its guests. For founder and owner Jessica Jadick, the evolution of Florida Water Tours has been more fulfilling than she ever could have expected.

“I was raised on the docks on Long Island’s South Shore, where my dad worked as a boat mechanic,” says Jessica Jadick, founder and owner of Florida Water Tours. “It ignited a lifelong passion for the water, marine science, and boating. As it turns out, my dad is the person who sparked the idea for my company. He gave me a heads-up about a boat for sale in St. Augustine. I called up my grandfather, who patiently listened to my vision, and loaned me the capital to purchase the boat. Since then, family has been at the center of what makes Florida Water Tours work.”

Jadick officially purchased Florida Water Tours’ flagship vessel, the Osprey, on January 20, 2016, and launched the business soon after. The first year was a hard scrabble – it was just Jadick, her future husband, Mike, and her dad running tours from a transient dock and handling the logistics of everyday business ownership. As the business grew, Jadick was able to hire staff, find a permanent home at Windward at Camachee Cove Marina, and add two additional boats to the fleet. But the heart of the business has always been family. Jessica and Captain Mike now work alongside both of their mothers, his brother and sister-in-law, her sisters, and their children, Isla and Malakai, who are loving the same childhood Jadick enjoyed, just in a warmer climate.
