The Seven Seas Cruising Association (SSCA) & St. Augustine Sailing Announce 2026 Ladybug Event
ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida (January 26, 2026) – The Seven Seas Cruising Association (SSCA) and St. Augustine Sailing are pleased to announce the jointly produced 3rd Annual Ladybug Event & SSCA Spring GAM, taking place Friday, March 6th through Sunday, March 8th, 2026, at Windward at Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor, located at 3076 Harbor Drive in St. Augustine, Florida.
This collaborative weekend brings together SSCA’s classroom-based cruising seminars with hands-on, on-the-water instruction aboard St. Augustine Sailing and All Points Yacht Sales’ vessels, along with an in-water boat show and a one-design sailing regatta, creating a dynamic learning environment where theory and real-world application run side-by-side. St. Augustine Sailing delivers instruction using the American Sailing Association (ASA) curriculum and is nationally recognized for its comprehensive sailing education programs, sailing club, and luxury sailing charters.
Participants may choose between classroom or on-board learning formats during designated time blocks, while still sharing joint sessions, dockside discussions, social gatherings, in-water boat show, regatta activities, and evening events throughout the weekend. This flexible design allows sailors to tailor their experience, whether they prefer in-depth discussion, real-time sailing application, or a balanced combination of both.
The event is open to SSCA members, St. Augustine Sailing students, club members, and charter guests, as well as non-members interested in cruising education, skills development, or expanding their sailing confidence. Sailors of all experience levels are welcome. Slip availability at Windward at Camachee Cove Marina is limited, and early reservations are strongly encouraged. Transient slips are available through www.dockwa.com. Classroom sessions will be held at the Northeast Florida Marlin Association, within the marina, which is located just off the Intracoastal Waterway on the Tolomato River.
Together, SSCA and St. Augustine Sailing are creating a balanced, practical learning weekend that reflects how sailors truly learn, by combining sound instruction with direct experience. For more information or to register, visit www.sta-sail.com/ladybug-race
