Florida Water Tours' Reggae Sunset Cruise Returns for Spring-Summer Season
ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida (April 2, 2026) – Florida Water Tours is bringing back its Reggae Sunset Cruise, departing on Sunday evenings beginning April 19. It takes the tour boat company’s popular Sunset Cruise and sets it to a soundtrack of modern and classic reggae hits, selected by local DJ Raggamuffin. Get ready to relax, groove, and enjoy the sights on Florida Water Tours’ newest boat, the Great Blue Heron.
“We first offered our Reggae Sunset Cruise last summer, and our passengers just loved it,” says Jessica Jadick, Owner of Florida Water Tours. “What’s not to love - reggae, boats, and the water are just such a natural combination. We like to keep it a pretty relaxed experience. There’s space on the deck to dance with friends, or comfortable seats where you can just kick back, relax, and vibe with the music.”
To create the perfect atmosphere, Florida Water Tours has brought in DJ Raggamuffin, who knows how to bring the island flavor. DJ Raggamuffin is the former host of “The Reggae Evolution Show” on WFCF, Flagler College Radio, as well as the founder of Beachside Entertainment, providing soundtracks at weddings, festivals, and events throughout Northeast Florida.
“It’s such a pleasant surprise to see how many people truly embrace the music and the culture when they come aboard,” says DJ Raggamuffin. “We play everything from old classics and roots reggae to lovers’ rock and dancehall anthems, with plenty of great tracks along the way. I love to juggle the music so it never gets boring and fits the mood. As we shove off, you might hear ‘Big Ship’ by Freddie McGregor or ‘Rock My Boat’ by Bob Marley. We often cruise by a pod of dolphins that seem to really love reggae as well. Once the sun goes down, we turn things up a bit, and the dance floor starts to fill as we pass near the Bridge of Lions, the Bayfront, and the Fort. It truly is a vibe!”
The 2-hour, adults-only Reggae Sunset Cruise departs from Camachee Cove Marina, 107 Yacht Club Drive in St. Augustine, located at the base of the Vilano Bridge. Guests can enjoy looking for local wildlife, seeing St. Augustine’s sights, and catching the sunset from the water. The cost is $49 per person and includes one complimentary drink from the onboard bar; additional drinks, including beer, wine, canned cocktails, and mixed drinks, are available for purchase. Guests can also pre-order Graze Boxes, stuffed with a selection of charcuterie, nuts, fruit, chocolate, and more. Passengers can explore the waterways on one of Florida Water Tours’ many cruise options, departing daily from Camachee Cove Marina, 107 Yacht Club Drive in St. Augustine.
