Fourth Annual Finger Mullet Film Festival Returns to Flagler College April 10
ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida (March 13, 2026) – The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum (CEAM) and Flagler College are thrilled to host the Fourth Annual Finger Mullet Film Festival (FMFF). The film fest will take place on Friday, April 10, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
The first screening of the evening is dedicated to student shorts, including over twenty stop-motion videos made by local kindergarten through eighth-grade students who participated in summer camps at Make Space Workshop & Classroom from 2023 to 2025. In addition, FMFF is thrilled to showcase work from Flagler College students, as well as from students from China, Croatia, England, Iran, Israel, Norway, Portugal, and the United States, who were selected through an open call.
The second screening block is a curated selection of experimental films and video works by renowned contemporary artists from throughout the United States and abroad. In the evening's final event, musicians will perform live to time-based artwork by visual artists and experimental filmmakers.
The FMFF was founded by Flagler College Kenan Distinguished Professor of Art, Patrick Moser, in collaboration with CEAM Director Julie Dickover and artist, musician, and former Flagler adjunct professor Kevin Mahoney. FMFF is dedicated to nurturing an experimental art and film culture in St. Augustine by providing an inspired platform of the best national and international short films alongside a burgeoning local and regional culture of time-based creators and storytellers. The festival aims to discover, cultivate, and screen new or local narratives to generate critical discussion and empower collaboration within the public, intertwining the importance of art and recognition of its vital place in our community.

· 5-6 p.m.: Opening reception
· 6-7 p.m.: Student Block
· 7-8 p.m.: Artist block featuring Samuel Aye-Gboyin; Lilli Carré; Allison Janae Hamilton; Brielle Jenkins; John C. Kelly; Thomas Mader and Christine Sun Kim; and Liz Rodda.
· 8:30-10 p.m.: Live Music and Visual Performance featuring Barron Sherer (Miami) and David Brieske (Miami); Starter Castles (St. Augustine) and Whitney Hubbs (New York); Franz Pritchard (Tallahassee), Kanemura Osamu (Tokyo, Japan), and Komatsu Hiroko (Tokyo, Japan); and Hedy Starrett (Gainesville) and Kane Pour (Gainesville).
