St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce Hosts Meet The Candidates Events June 25 & July 30

ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida (June 2, 2026)—The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce is providing community members with two opportunities to connect with county and municipal political candidates ahead of the 2026 election. Meet the Candidates 2026 will be held on Thursday, June 25, at Bartram Trail High School in St. Johns and on Thursday, July 30, at Fullerwood Training Center in St. Augustine.  

"Part of the mission of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce is to create opportunities for residents and the business community to connect with their elected officials and candidates running for office," said Isabelle Renault, President and CEO of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce. "The Chamber is proud to make these educational events possible with the support of our sponsors, and to help voters make the most informed decision on Election Day."  

Meet the Candidates 2026 is a chance for the community to get to know candidates and learn more about the issues that matter to them. Meet the Candidates North on Thursday, June 25, will feature candidates running for the St. Johns County Board of Commissioners; Meet the Candidates South on Thursday, July 30, will feature candidates running for the St. Augustine City Commission, and the City of St. Augustine Mayorship. Both events start with 30 minutes of networking and meeting with candidates, followed by a town hall-style panel with a moderated question-and-answer session. Candidates will answer pre-selected questions drawn from those submitted by constituents during event registration.

Both events are free and open to the public.
